Before forming AEC, Dr. Ayala built a distinguished career spanning military service, defense contracting, and academic leadership. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and was named Army Materiel Command Engineer of the Year in 1998 and National Hispanic Engineer of the Year in 1997.
