Dr. John F. Ayala is the President and Owner of Ayala Engineering & Consulting, LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas. With over three decades of experience in engineering, defense contracting, and leadership development, Dr. Ayala has established himself as a trusted advisor and strategic technology leader. His career includes significant roles such as Technical Director at The Texas A&M University System’s Aerospace, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering Division, and Manufacturing Technology Secretary for the U.S. Army, where he managed a $700 million budget and developed critical reports for Congress. Dr. Ayala holds a Doctorate in Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from St. Mary’s University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, a Certified Project Management Professional, and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Throughout his career, Dr. Ayala has been recognized for his contributions to engineering and leadership, including being named the U.S. Army Materiel Command Engineer of the Year and receiving the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Award for Military Technical Achievement. At Ayala Engineering & Consulting, he continues to mentor and advise businesses, providing tools to navigate the Department of Defense sectors and helping professionals refine their aspirations to achieve their goals.

Dr. Norma S. Guerra

Dr. Norma Guerra is the founder and CEO of Engaged Leadership Development. She is Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and served as the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Diversity and Inclusion. With over 30 years of experience in public higher education, she held various leadership roles, including Executive Director of Human Resources Management and Development, Associate Vice President for Administration and Planning, and Director of UTSA’s first student success and retention office, the Tomas Rivera Center. Dr. Guerra is the creator of the LIBRE Model, a strength-based approach to problem-solving that integrates social-emotional and cognitive perspectives. Her research focuses on identity development, engagement styles, and inclusive service delivery for culturally and linguistically diverse populations. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, and Licensed Professional Counselor, she has authored multiple books and scholarly articles aimed at improving practices in Institutions. Dr. Guerra earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from UTSA, and a B.A. in Education from Trinity University.

Mayo is the CEO and Founder of Entropy Dynamic Consulting Group LLC, a firm specializing in strategic consulting and leadership development for both governmental agencies and private industry. With a distinguished career span of over three decades, Mr. Mayo has held pivotal roles in defense contracting and project management. Notably, he served as Deputy Commander at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Dallas, where he was instrumental in overseeing contract management operations and fostering leadership initiatives within the agency. His tenure at DCMA was marked by a commitment to mentoring emerging leaders and enhancing organizational efficiency. Additionally, Mr. Mayo contributed his expertise to Management Concepts, focusing on acquisitions and project management, where he played a key role in developing training programs that improved procurement processes and project execution. His extensive experience and leadership acumen make him a valuable asset in guiding organizations toward achieving their strategic objectives.
