This session will include an overview of the strategic planning process and an explanation of the purpose in conducting a strategic plan. The first phase of strategic planning will be presented. Discussion will include a review of the mission and vision of the organization. The first phase of the strategic plan will be offered which will include an environment scan, a review of existing strengths, opportunities, and identifying of gaps. The use of the LIBRE Model will be introduced to address environmental consideration and context for addressing the overall strategic plan.
