This session will include an overview of the strategic planning process and an explanation of the purpose in conducting a strategic plan. Discussion will begin with the affirmation of the organization’s mission and vision. Organizational values and priorities will be discussed, and the session will develop a matrix for how to prioritize identified areas for growth and refinement. A sorting exercise will be implemented and finalized listing developed with project goals and objectives. A project management plan will be discussed for monitoring and funding and formative and summative evaluation bench markers discussed. Growth plans will be discussed.
